Dean Jones is a senior learning expert responsible for leading the business strategy for Gallup’s community of more than 36,000 CliftonStrengths® coaches worldwide, with a focus on strategic growth and global impact. In this role, he works to expand and support a thriving global network of corporate coaches, internal champions and independent practitioners — all contributing to Gallup’s goal of helping 1 billion people discover and apply their strengths. He is a frequent speaker and adviser on strengths-based development, learning strategy and leadership.

Before stepping into this role, Dean led Gallup’s global learning strategy and chaired the organization’s Diversity Advisory Council. His prior work at Gallup included scaling the client learning business, overseeing the development of Gallup’s workplace consultants, and guiding the creation and global expansion of learning programs — including the Gallup Global Strengths Coach course, a cornerstone experience for strengths-based practitioners around the world.

Dean brings nearly 30 years of leadership experience in learning and development, business strategy, sales and marketing — from building a startup training company to leading business development teams at a Fortune 500 organization.

He holds an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management and a bachelor’s degree from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota.
