Ilana Ron Levey is a managing director at Gallup, serves on the firm’s executive leadership team and chairs Gallup’s research brand protection committee. Ilana leads a team of world-class researchers focused on Gallup’s public release and social impact partnerships, including through the Gallup World Poll. In addition to her business leadership responsibilities, Ilana is a social science researcher with deep expertise in research methods and public opinion, wellbeing measurement, international development, and global public health. She is a frequent spokesperson on a variety of Gallup-related topics, including leadership and management, wellbeing and religion, and using data to drive public policy.
Prior to joining Gallup, Ilana served as the co-director of the qualitative methods centre for Abt Associates and led major research studies on the role of the private sector in the provision of essential services across sub-Saharan Africa and Asia. Ilana received her bachelor’s degree in political science and Middle East studies from McGill University and her master’s degree in comparative politics and research methods from the London School of Economics.
