Having used Gallup Q12 and Clifton Strengths for nearly 15 years at two different organisations, Kelly is a self-confessed ‘Gallup Fan-Girl’ and proud recipient of the 2024 Gallup Manager of the Year award.

Kelly’s Leadership ‘why’ is “To connect with people so they are positive, engaged and are inspired to grow and reach their potential”. With a background in learning and development and twenty years of leadership experience in different sectors, Kelly is an honest and trustworthy leader who builds strong relationships. She focuses on developing and empowering her team, is always available to support them and removes challenges so they can do what they do best.

Kelly is an authentic leader that brings her whole self to work and enables her team to do the same. Her openness to show vulnerability has created trust within the team. She is a calm, confident and solutions-based leader who makes her team feel safe.

Kelly is a coach who asks challenging questions of her team, empowering them to find their ‘why’ and their own individual way forward. Kelly takes the time to get to know her team members as individuals, to discover ‘what gets you out of bed in the morning?’, then works with them to provide opportunities to do this as often as possible. She encourages the team to harness each other’s strengths, which has created a united, high performing team.

She is her team’s biggest cheerleader and ensures they get the recognition they deserve, both directly from her and others, by proudly sharing the team’s successes in the wider organisation.
